Background
Enables growth hormone secretagogue receptor activity and peptide hormone binding activity. Involved in several processes, including cellular response to insulin-like growth factor stimulus; regulation of digestive system process; and regulation of secretion by cell. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of insulin secretion. Is active in Schaffer collateral - CA1 synapse; glutamatergic synapse; and synaptic membrane.
