1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphorylcholine (DSPC) is a phospholipid containing the saturated long-chain (18:0) stearic acid inserted at the sn–1 and sn–2 positions. It has been used in combination with other lipids in the formation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Formulations containing DSPC have been used in the development of lipid nanoparticles for the delivery of mRNA-based vaccines.
