Double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) is a type of RNA consisting of two complementary strands, structurally analogous to cellular DNA. Double-stranded RNA molecules—such as viral RNA or small interfering RNA (siRNA)—can induce RNA interference (RNAi) in eukaryotic cells and elicit an interferon response in vertebrates.

This dsRNA standard is synthesized in vitro through transcription with T7 RNA polymerase using four NTPs (ATP, GTP, CTP, and Pseudouridine-UTP) as substrates, followed by an annealing step.

Key Features

Batch-to-Batch Stability: Consistent quality and performance across different production batches.

Long-Term Stability: Maintains integrity and activity over extended storage periods.

Structural Accuracy: Forms authentic double-stranded RNA with complementary strands, analogous to cellular DNA structure.
