LiTaq™ DNA 聚合酶是一种耐热 DNA 聚合酶，具有 5'→3' 聚合酶活性和 5'→3' 外切核酸酶活性，但不具备 3'→5' 外切核酸酶活性。LiTaq™ DNA 聚合酶是从过量表达嗜热栖热菌（Thermus aquaticus）DNA 聚合酶基因的大肠杆菌（E. coli）菌株中纯化而得。该酶中未检测出内切核酸酶、外切核酸酶或细菌 DNA。
